oh awesome, thanks for posting this. I was REALLY inspired by Sagan's lecture I've never been able to do caricatures before, so I became turned off to the whole idea and stuck to geometric formulas, and my art's suffered for it, I think. For me, he cleared everything up by saying something to the extent of: "don't use GEOMETRIC shapes in your caricatures, use biomorphic." and I was like "oh!". That's been my problem the whole time! I've been doing caricatures since, and already the unskilled, minimal amount I've done have helped to evolve my character designs a bit, I think. Thanks for all the links to the artists, though. This will help me a lot, too! I'm inspired again!
