I'm curious to know what everyone's favorite animated music videos are. My personal favorite is definitely A-Ha's " youtube.com/watch?v=CUod3jGQt0U]Take On Me". The 80's was definitely a great decade for music videos. I'd order the VH1: Classics channel if I had the money. Sadly, I don't. There's also: Tom Petty's " Runnin' Down A Dream" ABC's " How To Be A Millionaire" I feel like I'm forgetting a lot, but hey, here's some more recent music videos: Eminem's " Mosh" Gnarls Barkley's " Crazy" Modest Mouse's " Float On" By the way, the collage-like technique used in Modest Mouse's video has become a big thing in today's animated music videos. I've seen it in Franz Ferdinand's "Take Me Out", Beck's "E-Pro", Incubus' "Megalomaniac", and Coldplay's "Beautiful World". I recommend taking a gander at those, if you get the chance. Let us not forget the fully-animated band, The Gorrilaz, which are a major breakthrough in the mesh between music and animation. Okay guys, now it's your turn. Tell us about your favorite music videos that are animated. I know there must be plenty that I'm forgetting, so feel free to share.

wow, those are some awesome videos,Tracey! I didn't know that trivia fact about Modest Mouse's "float on" video, either (which I love, btw). anyway, here's the ones I know off the top of my head: Regina Spektor's Us Spinto Band's Oh Mandy (I think this was on youtube's front page at some point??) Jaimes and the Rainbo's Children of the Universe ("Tim Treadwell is kidnapped by rabbit scientists, transformed into a bear, cloned, and then sent to a far away planet to fight an alien." ...how can you not like it? haha White Stripes's Fell in love with a girl

Ha ha! Nemo in Slumberland reference in the Tom Petty
I really like the Gnarls Barkley one. I also liked the one by Regina Spektor.
I don't see many music videos, so I'm afraid I can't add much to the mix. >.< But it is really nice to see what you have posted. Thanks

Now that I think about it, I think Daft Punk might have produced some animated music videos. I suppose I'll just keep spouting titles as they come to me.
