Many of you may remember the 10 Second Club, a monthly animation competition. The basic idea was the site would provide an audio clip around 10 seconds long, and you'd have the whole month to animate a shot to those 10 seconds. It was a really cool site, but unfortunately it was shut down due to management issues (something like the owner of the site couldn't afford to run it anymore).
Well, to follow in it's wake is the 11 Second Club. It's the same basic idea. Even if you're not interested in entering the competition, I'd encourage you to go and see the different acting decisions that people make for the same clip of dialog. It's really cool!

Right after I made this post, I went and checked out the site. Another advantage to this site is that there's a critique of the winning piece by a professional animator. So not only do you get to see cool animation, but you get to see how this already good piece could be even better.

I just realized we don't have a link to the 11 second club up. Here it is: www.11secondclub.com/I second the immense awesome of this site and highly encourage everyone to look at the e-critiques on the winning pieces.
